Mac → Access → Win → File Resources#

  • Win Settings

    • Create a shared folder, let's name it 【AirDrop】.

    • General → Sharing → Enable File Sharing → Users → Click + → Select Xiaoyu → Done

    • Wi-Fi → Details → WINS → Add WINS Server (192.168.0.112): this is the ipv4 address of Win

  • Win Settings
    • File Explorer → Network → Enter (\192.168.0.110): this address is Mac's ipv4

iOS → Access → Mac → File Resources#

  • App Library → Search for files → Click the top right corner → Connect to Server

  • Enter the server address: smb://192.168.0.110 (Mac's ipv4 address)

  • If sharing with others, we can use the newly created user (e.g., Xiaoyu),

  • If for personal use, we can use the administrator account (e.g., Jack)

iPad Access Mac

  • If others shared iPad's file resources through the newly created user (e.g., Xiaoyu) and we cannot open it on Mac through the administrator (e.g., Jack)

  • Right-click → Get Info → Sharing & Permissions → Click the lock 🔒 → Click the + at the bottom left

  • Add the administrator (e.g., Jack) to view it.
